My Galant is still a nightmare, I don’t want to get rid of it, but I’d love to get a cheap DD and keep working on it. Then I see this. Basically my dream panther.

I say go for it. My Town Car is just about to hit 200k.

I’m voting NP on this one @ $1795 but it says $3000 on the car. $3000 is probably not bad either if the oily bits are in as good shape as the exterior.

Lots of life left in that one if you’re willing to do some maintenance and replace some parts here and there. Go for it.

It will have the sturdier coolant crossover which was corrected on the 2002 model year and up. My 2001 Town Car was a gem. It needed parts here and there, but overall it was reliable. Not bad for a fleet car from the Buffalo airport.
My 2006 Town Car was a one (private) owner car from Phoenix and it was a mechanical nightmare. I finally traded it in after just one year of ownership on a 2013 Dart GT, which was jumping from the frying pan into the fire. After 12 measly months of Dart ownership I admitted defeat again and bought a 2012 Camry. I haven’t looked back.

It was for sale at 3000 4, or 5 months ago. I guess they dropped the price but didn’t bother taking new pics.

That’s quite a drop in price. Like 41%.

Makes you wonder why

If I had to guess it’s that the add is wrong or intentionally misleading.
